Gallery Show Schedule 2012

January 8 - 28:  Jean Poole and Daniel Bellyk
Jean is a local established painter who specializes in watercolour and acrylics.  Dan is a Sarnia based photographer  who does commercial, industrial and aerial work.

February 5 - 25:  Devon McCallum and Martin Renaud
Devon and Martin are emerging young artists who will display a variety of painting styles including landscapes, local scenes and book illustrations.

March 4 -24: 
Colour Through The Lens.  Sarnia Photographic Club.  This show will feature many club photographers presenting their photographic interpretations on a common theme.

April 1 -21: 
KALEIDOSCOPE 2012.  Our popular annual elementary School Show features the work of young artists from city and country schools ( Kindergarten to Grade 8).

April 29 - May 26:
THREADWORKS.  This is an Ontario travelling juried show of creative needlework based on the theme “Trees”.  We are honoured to be chosen to host this show.

June 3 - 23: 
Denise Fortin and Mark Stebbins.  Denise’s work includes watercolours, acrylics and photography.  Mark is a past scholarship winner who specialises in acrylic paint/ink on wood panel.  Mark has won national and provincial awards. This is their first show at the Gallery.

Sept 9 - 29: 
Creative Stitchery. Tulip Tree Needle arts.  This Chatham based group create historic as well as modern pieces of fabric art.  Community samplers, embroidery and quilts will be part of their display.

October 7 - 27: 
Scott Pattinson.  Scott is an abstract painter from Guelph who has had solo and group exhibitions throughout Canada.  Scott’s acrylic paintings are dramatic, bold and colourful.

November  4 - 24: 
GIFTS FOR THE SEASON.  Local artisans will display a variety of unique art/crafts including fused glass, jewellery, pottery and wood crafts. Items will be for sale during the month for those interested in Christmas purchases.
