​Oh! My Canada! wants your take on what makes this country unique. From big skies, diverse landscapes, urban spaces, a spectrum of cultures, to personal stories, share your vision in this juried exhibition. Let’s discover a view of Canada!”

​Jurors will look for originality, mastery of medium and a creative interpretation of the theme. The exhibition is an opportunity for emerging and established artists to show their work in a gallery setting.

Accepted Media
  • Painting (all mediums), Drawing, Pastel, Ink, Pencil, Encaustic, Mixed media, Photography, Sculpture, Textile, Printmaking, Digital Designed Art

Criteria
  • Must be 17 years or older and a resident of Ontario.
  • Artwork must have been created in the last 2 years and have not been exhibited in Lambton County.
  • Work completed under the direction of an instructor or in a class/workshop is ineligible.
  • Must be original work–direct copies of other artists' work are not acceptable
  • No AI-generated submissions will be accepted
  • Work chosen and accepted by the jurors must stay in the gallery for the duration of exhibition and be available for purchase. Value of each piece not to exceed $5000.00. Gallery commission is 25%.

Fees
  • $20.00 – 1 submission          
  • $35.00 – 2 submissions
  • $50.00 – 3 submissions (Maximum of 3 submissions)
  • Fees are non-refundable and must be paid online.

Awards
  • 1st Place: $TBA, 2nd Place: $TBA, 3rd Place: $TBA, People's Choice: TBA
  • Awards will take place Saturday, Feb. 7th at 12:00pm.

​Submission Details
  • Submission does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibition.
  • Submissions will be accepted online only at www.galleryinthegrove.com between Dec 21, 2025 and January 12, 2026.
  • Image file attachment must be labeled with: First Name, Last Name, Title of Art
  • Image must be in jpg, jpeg or png format.
  • Image should be cropped to show only the artwork – frames, mats, other backgrounds and watermarks are not allowed. Image must be clear, without glare and in focus.
  • Minimum 2D artwork size is 8”x10” and not to exceed 40” on the longest edge (not including frame)
  • 3D artwork must not exceed 24" on longest dimension, and not over 20lbs weight.
  • Artwork that is accepted into the exhibition must be prepped properly for hanging, including framed if applicable and wired, otherwise it will not be accepted.
  • Artist is responsible for delivery of artwork on Jan. 30 or 31 if accepted into the exhibition and responsible for pick-up of artwork on designated date if not sold.
